Chiron
Chiron is the “wounded healer”. He represents the contradiction we face in our lives as we all walk around with wounds and pain, and yet we wear the mask as if we are healed, and show bravery by helping ourselves and others.
Chiron was a Centaur, half-god and half-horse. As humans we go through times of riding the horse, working like a horse, or even feeling like a God. The astrology of this points us in the direction of where our wounds lay within us from birth, but also where and what wounds are we currently facing. This can be the key (which is the symbol of Chiron), to unlock the pain and unravel the wounds, to understand that what we are facing right now is in order for us to heal a certain aspect in our lives. At the moment, Chiron is in Aries and if you wish to find out where are you carrying the wounds.
This song by Naomi, Wachira, gives us a glimpse to what Chiron in Aries feels like.
Beautifully human
Don’t make me prove, why I should be, why I belong, why I deserve to be here.
I deserve
I know that I am, I am
And so is anyone who can walk, who can talk, who can laugh, who cry, feel pain, so is anyone who can’t speak, who can’t hear, who can’t see, who’s never had a free mind
so is anyone whether brown or white or any other color
We’re beautifully human
Beautiful, beautiful, beautifully human, beautiful
